Kelly Records - History
The first Kelly Recording Studios were built in Duke Street, Douglas, Isle of Man, in the late 1960's, as an idea by Robin Kelly and Terry Clough. There was a strong Folk Music & Rock n Roll scene in the Island at the time, and various local groups were invited to use the facilities.

Over the years as well as the local musicians and artists, many well known acts would use the studios for rehearsing or recording demo tapes of their latest material, included were, Andy Gibb {BeeGees} with his local band, and Chris Norman of the hit group Smokie. Unfortunately due to a serious studio fire a lot of the master tapes of many of the artists were destroyed, however, some material was saved and is listed on this site.
